STPS offers educational and public awareness programas on marine turtle survival as an integral part of our mission. For inofrmation about forthcoming events or to invite STPS to your event, please call the Turtle Office at (321) 676-1701. The general public is welcomed at all STPS General Meetings, Beach Cleanups, and Turtle Talks.

General Meetings - First Thursday of the month. The general meetings are held at the Melbourne Beach Community Room on Ocean Avenue and located within the town hall.

EVENTS:

Thursday, Apr. 3, 2008: General Membership Meeting: 7:30 pm.

A Sustainable Seafood and Agriculture Panel Discussion will be  led by Ann Rubio and Cindy Dolaway. The discussion will focus  on sustainable seafood and eating locally and seasonally and how this relates to responsible co-existence with endangered turtles.

Saturday, April 5, 2008: Beach cleanup!
Thursday, May 1, 2008: General Membership Meeting: 7:30 pm.

Mosquito Wars! Gordon M.  Patterson, a professor of history at Florida Tech,
will be speaking on the history of mosquito control in Florida.
