The next Beach Clean-up will be Saturday, Auguest 9, 2014, at Coconut Point Park, in Melbourne Beach,  8am – 10am.

STPS Membership Meetings

Meeting are usually held at the Melbourne Beach Community Center, Ocean Avenue, Melbourne Beach, FL. The doors open at 7:00PM for light refreshments and the meeting will begin at 7:30 PM unless otherwise noted.

 

September 4, 2014

Please note this meeting will be held at the Clubhouse at  Pelican Beach Park, Satellite Beach, Florida. Refreshments will be served at 7:00PM with the meeting to begin at 7:30PM. Speaker is scheduled to be from FIT on the topic ”Under the Waves.”

October 2, 2014

Speaker will be Don George of Geomar Environmental Consultants.  Don will talk about activity at our survey beach in Cocoa Beach during the 2014 nesting season.

November 6, 2014

Speaker will be Dean Bagley of UCF, telling us about the 2014 nesting sea turtle season in Melbourne Beach and ongoing research in the ACNWR.

Turtle Krawl 5K Run/Walk

The 2014 Turtle Krawl 5K Walk/Run will be held on September 13, 2014.

The 2013 Turtle Krawl 5K Walk/Run was an amazing success. It was the largest 5k ever in Brevard County with a record breaking 2190 registrants.
